The Geospatial Research Assistant to develop introductory resources and guides to help faculty and students from diverse disciplines get started with geospatial tools and technologies. The RA will create user-friendly, on-ramp style materials that explain the basics of geospatial data, software, and methodologies, making these resources accessible to non-experts via the YCGS website. Additionally, the student will provide research support to faculty using geospatial analysis in their projects, assist in organizing and participating in workshops, seminars, and outreach events, and contribute to fostering a collaborative geospatial research environment on campus. |
