The Yale Center for Geospatial Solutions (YCGS), established in July 2024, is dedicated to creating geospatial knowledge to solve humanity’s most pressing challenges. We are seeking motivated and creative Digital Media Coordinators to support our digital communications initiatives. As the voice and visual identity behind our Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletter, and website, you will help shape how we engage with the public and communicate our mission. Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop visually engaging content in response to innovative Earth observation applications or notable achievements by YCGS and its affiliates. Formats may include short-form videos, card news, articles, and more.
Graphic Design: Design promotional materials for YCGS events, workshops, and speaker series. Experience with tools like Canva is a plus.
Newsletter Production: Curate and share compelling updates related to YCGS and the broader geospatial field. Keep an eye out for and promote relevant opportunities.
Website Management: Maintain and update web content. Assist with transitioning content from the old website to the new one.
Digital Media Management: Draft, schedule, and manage posts across our digital platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube. Four selected candidates will work with the team to complete one or two specific tasks from the list of responsibilities. |
