The Registrar’s Office is responsible for the museum’s acquisitions, loans, and exhibitions: facilitating deaccessions, risk management, safe packing and movement, documentation management, oversight of collection policies, and assisting with activities in storage. We are seeking a student aide to assist with the office duties relating to the activities of collection movement and collections database maintenance. These duties may include: processing documents, reconciliation of files, lists and The Museum System (TMS) database records, scanning historical accession files, image and condition report scanning/linking, filing, copying and basic research on the collection. Assigned tasks may vary. The student will be afforded the opportunity to learn about this museum’s significant art collection and its management while working in a friendly, interesting, and high energy environment. |
