Job Description Yale College Reunions are organized by the Yale Alumni Association and take place from Wednesday through Sunday, May 22-27 and May 29 - June 2. Yale College Reunion Clerks work either one or both reunion weekends, depending on availability, as part of the reunion team. This application is for the first weekend of reunions. If you are interested in working for the 2nd weekend, May 29 - June 2, you MUST apply separately for Job #12090. There is no interview process, but a one-hour training session in early April is mandatory. At that time you will be informed as to your hiring status. Duties include setting up for the reunion, helping with registration, greeting alumni at college gates, assisting with luggage, and other tasks as required. Clerks should have a professional, pleasant and helpful attitude when interacting with Alumni and their guests. Reunion clerks are guaranteed 32-37 hours per week for each reunion weekend worked. Benefits include: competitive wages, 32 - 37 hour guarantee for each weekend worked, subsidies for lunch and dinner at local restaurants during reunions, and post term housing on the Old Campus (for current on-campus residents only), continuous from the end of exams to June 3. On the first weekend of reunions there are also jobs available at Camp Bulldog, our child care program. If you would like to be considered for this position as a Camp Bulldog Clerk, please apply separately to Job #3657.
Job Requirements Reunion Clerks will be required to attend a one-hour training session in early April. If you are hired as a Reunion Clerk, you must be available for the entire reunion weekend (Wednesday, 8:30 am through Sunday 2 pm).
