Job Description

The Buttery is a student-run servery that provides late-night food options for the Franklin community. We’re a fast-paced, friendly space where students can grab a bite, hang out, and unwind after a long day. We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable Franklin students to join our Buttery team! As a buttery worker, you’ll help prepare and serve food, keep the space clean and welcoming, and provide great customer service to your fellow students.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook simple menu items (e.g., grilled cheese, quesadillas, fries)
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Provide friendly and respectful service to all customers
  • Open or close the servery (depending on shift)
  • Work independently and stay on task without close supervision
Job Requirements

Must be a FRANKLIN student in good standing. Must be trustworthy, dependable, and punctual. Comfortable working independently during late-night hours. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and customer-service mindset. Prior experience in food service, fast food, or restaurant work is a plus.

Compensation $16.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level I
Hours 1.5 to 3.0 hours per week
