Job Description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Franklin student to join our team as a Communications Aide. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for social media, digital marketing, and visual storytelling. You’ll play a key role in increasing Franklin's visibility and engagement across various platforms. Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and grow our presence on Instagram and Facebook
  • Regularly update and maintain our website content
  • Occasionally design flyers for events and announcements
  • Attend select College events to take photos and/or videos for promotional use
  • Create video recaps or highlight reels of events (optional but preferred)
  • Work closely with staff to align messaging with our mission and goals
Job Requirements

Must be a Franklin student with an interest or background in marketing, communications, design, or social media. Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, or similar tools. Basic photography and/or video editing skills a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Creative, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Compensation $16.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level I
Hours 3.0 to 8.0 hours per week
