Job Description

The Office of New Haven Affairs is seeking a small number of student interns to assist various departments in the New Haven Public Schools central office. Each intern will support data collection, analyses, and policy development and implementation in support of New Haven students and their families.

Job duties include (but are not limited to): 

  • Research best practice policies for curricular area assigned
  • Assist with data analysis
  • Evaluate current research data to better understand the needs of the community
  • Liaise with NHPS administrators and staff
  • Attend regular meetings and trainings to understand district needs
  • Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor
Job Requirements

Successful candidates should have:

  • ·        Excellent attention to detail
  •      Some familiarity with policy work
  • ·        Superb communication skills
  • ·        The ability to work independently
Compensation $17.00/hour
Job Level CY25: Level II
Hours 6.0 to 12.0 hours per week
