Job Description

Must have successfully completed Tips training and the Hospitality bartending course. Must be over 21

 

 

Prepares and serves beverages and light snacks to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

 

1. Mixes and serves alcoholic beverages as required

2. Sets and maintains the bar including supplies and related items

3. Breaks down the bar when service is over

4. Receives, verifies and records all deliveries and returns of merchandise pertaining to the bar

5. Records and reconciles Point of Sale transactions at the end of their shift.

6. Observes the rules of the Yale Hospitality Department

7. Receives payment from guests, , verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed

8.  Cleans job related or assigned areas, equipment and utensils.

9. Observes safety standards and practices

10. Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification

11. Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Job Requirements

 

High school Diploma or equivalent

 

Excellent Customer Service skills.

Monday- Friday availability required.

Must have demonstrated Leadership and Motivational skills, ability to act independently.

Must have good communication skills (Verbal and Written).

Compensation 19.83/hr
