Job Description

Offer guided tours of the Beinecke Library exhibition hall to visitors. Special attention given to the building's architecture, treasures like the Gutenberg Bible, and current exhibitions on view.  (Training, sample scripts, and FAQs are provided so tour guides can learn about the Beinecke and its collections.) Tour guides represent the library and the university with a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and respect to visitors from around the world.

Job Requirements

Excellent communication skills, especially public speaking. Enthusiasm for interfacing with the members of the public. Creativity and a sense of humor

 

Compensation $16.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level I
Hours 2.0 to 10.0 hours per week
