Job Description

We are looking for an editorial research assistant to join Yale Environment 360, an award-winning publication based at the Yale School of the Environment. Yale E360 publishes the work of leading environmental writers, such as Fred Pearce, Beth Gardiner, Elizabeth Kolbert, and Bill McKibben. Our articles are widely cited by influential publications, from Nature to the The New York Times, and republished by outlets including Wired, Slate, PBS NewsHour, and the BBC. The research assistant will undertake fact-checking and research in support of our feature articles.

Job Requirements

Strong fact-checking and research skills are essential, along with a deep knowledge of environmental issues. Fluency in social media and familiarity with graphic design are a plus, as the intern may occasionally be asked to help with promotion. A journalism background is not required.

Compensation $17.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level III
Hours 6.0 to 12.0 hours per week
