Job Description

We are currently seeking a student intern to contribute to the production of the Marsh Botanical Garden (MBG) Newsletter. The primary objective is to disseminate engaging stories to campus audiences and the New Haven communities beyond, enticing them to explore the captivating events happening within our premises. Topics for both the spring and fall newsletters encompass a wide range including class labs, progress on the master plan, research activities, and visitor experiences from our diverse collections and gardens. Additionally, selected stories will be featured on our website.

 
Job Requirements

Prospective candidates must have experience in assembling newsletters and adeptness in editing content, along with the ability to format and design layouts that resonate with readers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about narrating stories related to trees, plants, and flowers, with the overarching goal of promoting biodiversity conservation, sustainable gardening, and intriguing narratives about plants.
