Job Description

 

Manage projects, including: drafting and responding via email to alumni inquiries; identifying and updating contact information for Graduate School of Arts and Sciences alums in university database following office protocols; discovering and recommending to staff notable alumni in need of additional research, using LinkedIn and google news feeds; assisting with hosting events, especially connected to donor stewardship; conducting internet research; posting alum updates to GSAS website using following office protocols; sourcing and providing independent assessment of GSAS news stories to evaluate appropriateness for inclusion in alumni newsletter; notetaking for alumni events such as Graduate School Alum Association Board meetings (2x yearly); and assisting with other development projects and events as assigned. 

 

 

Job Requirements

Proficiency in Excel and Word; proficiency with Canva (please provide sample of Canva projects), well organized; strong time management; proficiency in accurate management of information; ability to learn new database systems (Hopper)  10 - 15 hours/week/ 2-3 days; flexible between 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Monday -Friday; some of the work may be completed remotely, not in the Development office.

Compensation $17.00/hour
