Job Description

Welcome to the Yale Banner, the oldest collegiate yearbook in America! In the 2025-2026 academic year, we will be working on the 185th edition of the Banner, and we are looking for new staff members to help us make a beautiful book.


Staff members receive compensation in the form of non-hourlly payments, which are flexible depending on contributions to the Banner. Additionally, positions have flexible time commitments and schedules, as members work closely with their leading editor to create a schedule of deadlines that work for them.

Job Requirements

Designers are undergraduate students who help us create the actual pages of the book. They use InDesign to assemble photographs into cohesive spreads. Designers will design either the Student Life, Athletics, or Student Organizations sections and are a key part in building the aesthetic of the book and making the yearbook a reality!

Compensation TBD, based on experience
