Actively research the nexus between sustainability – and climate change in particular – and environmental law and policy. Deliver comprehensive research reports, policy analyses, and data assessments. Provide project support, editorial support, and literature reviews. Prepare presentations, articles, and detailed reports that summarize and communicate project results effectively. Research Assistants are hired to support our Center research generally, or hired to support a specific project such as the Environmental Performance Index, Global Commons Stewardship Index, Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance, or Remaking the Global Trading System for a Sustainable Future project. The ideal candidate will have strong independent research, writing, and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while managing multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
