In partnership with the New Haven Public Schools, the Office of New Haven Affairs is looking to hire undergraduate and graduate students who feel they would be able to tutor high school students in Algebra 2, PreCalculus, and/or General Chemistry. NHPS is developing six career-connected pathways for high school students, two of them are in STEM related fields. The plans of study include dual enrollment in college credit-bearing classes and work-based learning opportunities. Tutoring sessions occur in the new bioscience building at 101 College Ave, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1pm to 2:45pm. There may be opportunities for additional tutoring times. |
