Job Description

The Business Data Analyst will be reporting to the Business & Financial Analytics Manager of Yale Parking - Business Operations.  This position is responsible for providing analytical support, process development and financial reporting assistance for Yale’s Parking department.  This role supports all aspects of data analysis within the department.  Performs complex multi-system reconciliations.  Serving as a principal source of specialized information regarding reporting out financial activities, KPIs/metrics, and ad-hoc analysis.  Communicates effectively at all levels and applies sound judgment when handling sensitive information.  Provides a high level of service that cultivates and maintains strong working relationships and communicates effectively to all levels of management.
Job Requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and experience with database management. (ability to write macros a plus but not required).
  • Experience using, Power BI, KPIs, Metrics or Other Data Analysis.
  • Demonstrated application of financial, accounting and economic concepts.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated superior customer service abilities and outstanding time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Available to work during business hours 2-3 hours on site.
Compensation $16.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level I
Hours 12.0 to 19.0 hours per week
