Job Description

This position will assist with multiple research projects in the Department of Pediatrics focusing on substance use among adolescents, peanut allergies, and RSV immunoprophylaxis.

Required tasks could include:

- systematic searches of medical literature,

- preparing mixed methods data collection instruments,

- enrolling participants,

- performing qualitative interviews and conducting qualitative data analysis,

- contributing to scoping reviews,

- collecting and analyzing mixed methods data,

- contributing to Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, continuing reviews, and amendments,

- assisting with preparing reports, grants and publications

-attending regular research team meetings

Job Requirements

Required skills:

- High-level time management and organizational skills

- Careful attention to detail

- Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality with diverse populations, including health care providers, staff, and patients

- Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs

- Ability to use initiative to identify and follow through on project issues

- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly

- Computer literacy, including word processing, database, and spreadsheet software

Preferred skills:

- Working knowledge of clinical research protocols and human subjects training

- Experience with statistical software (SAS) or computer programming languages

- Experience with qualitative interviewing and analysis, ideally with NVivo

-Spanish proficiency

Compensation $17.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level III
Hours 10.0 to 30.0 hours per week
