Job Description

Set-up for CSEAS events including Brown Bag Seminars, and assist guest speakers with projection and other needs.

Provides on-stie tech support for the talk -usually in hybrid mode.

Helps speakers get set up before the talk, coordinate catering, prepare refreshments, offering tech support/trouble shoot during the talk and assisting the host faculty in the Q&A session.

Support event hospitality by setting up coffee and refreshments and handling post event activities (e.g. tidy up the event space, returning supplies to the office, etc. )

Other variable program assistance as needed for occasional conferences and receptions, including food service set-up, management and other general event assistance, etc. 

 

 

Job Requirements

Candidate must be a self-starter, responsible and reliable, with the independence and good judgment to carry out assignments, anticipate needs and handle unexpected problems.
Technical proficiency - strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Zoom. Troubleshotting - able to diagnose and resolve technical issues with projecting equipment.

** Must be available on Wednesdays 11am to 1:30pm

Compensation $17.00/hour

Hours 3.0 to 6.0 hours per week
