Job Description
Title: Coordinator of Western Connections and Community Events with Ucross High Plains Stewardship Initiative at YSE
 
Description: We are seeking two students (with at least two years remaining at Yale) to join our team in planning and implementing events for the Western Connections and Community event series offered by Ucross High Plains Stewardship Initiative. 
 
This series hosts about 1-2 events per month during September-May. We are seeking two students to collaborate with Michelle Downey (Ucross director) and student coordinators Alaina Geibig, Li Murphy, and Taylor Furha to organize and coordinate these events to build connections and community among students, staff, and faculty at Yale that are interested in the western United States. These events are open to all student levels and disciplines. By bringing people together that are interested in West we can create community to foster interdisciplinary research, collaboration, and well-being.
 
Events in the past have included breakfasts, happy hour, trivia, education seminars and workshops, career chat, etc.
