Job Description
Overview: The Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) is seeking talented and motivated students to join our team as writers for the Yale Clean Energy Forum. This reimagined publication aims to offer critical insights, detailed reporting, and accessible financial models to support public officials, developers, investors, and advocates in the clean energy sector. Writers will play a crucial role in producing high-quality content that bridges academic research and professional journalism.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on key themes such as green banks, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and clean energy development challenges and opportunities.
Write detailed and engaging articles on project finance assembly, the clean energy workforce, and project development.
Develop and publish accessible financial models and policy memos that help decision-makers adopt renewable projects.
Collaborate with professional journalists and CBEY staff to enhance the depth and reach of our stories.
Leverage independent studies and coursework to create informative and engaging content.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a student at Yale University.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Passion for environmental sustainability and clean energy.
