Job Description

Students are tasked with assisting the Office of Student Affairs Associate Director of Student Community Engagement in the areas of research and report writing, curriculum enhancement, community outreach, communications, event planning, hosting forums, public meetings, training, and providing resources and support. The Student Community Engagement Coordinators encourage leadership which enable students to be a positive force within the YSE Community.
Student Community Engagement Coordinators will solicit input and feedback from their peers, staff, and faculty; generate and collect ideas on effective programming, communication, and collaboration with peers in similar positions throughout the University; find out what students in peer institutions are doing in similar roles, help to develop community resources, and curricular materials.
