Job Description

Yale Schwarzman Center is seeking a motivated and creative student to join our Marketing & Communications team as a Digital Archives and Web Design Assistant. This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and exhibition of the Center's commissions through digital platforms.

 

Responsibilities:

Research and gather information on Yale Schwarzman Center commissions.

 Develop a webpage within the Schwarzman Center’s existing Drupal website or design a standalone website in Wix to archive and exhibit the Center’s commissions.

Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team and other Schwarzman Center team members to ensure accurate and engaging content.

Conduct research and meetings both remotely and on-site as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience in web design and web content management.

Strong interest and aptitude in archiving, art history, and digital exhibitions.

A strong working knowledge of interdisciplinary arts.

Prior experience working in a creative arts organization is a plus.

Open to all Yale students—undergraduates, graduate students, and professional school students.

Position Details:

Hybrid position with flexible remote work options.

Estimated 4-10 hours per week.

Estimated Duration: Entire 2025-2026 academic year.

Compensation $20 per hour
