Job Description

We are looking for a skilled intern to produce interactive graphs, maps, and other visuals for Yale Environment 360, a National Magazine Award-winning publication based at the Yale School of the Environment. Yale E360 publishes the work of leading environmental writers, such as Fred Pearce, Beth Gardiner, Elizabeth Kolbert, and Bill McKibben. Our articles are widely cited by influential publications, from Nature to The New York Times, and republished by outlets including Wired, Popular Science, and the BBC. The data visuals intern will produce visuals for inclusion in our feature articles.

Job Requirements

Must be skilled with Excel, GIS, and data visualization tools such as Flourish. Fluency in map-making software is a plus, as are skills in illustration. Knowledge of and enthusiasm for environmental issues is preferred.

Compensation $17.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level III
Hours 6.0 to 12.0 hours per week
