Job Description

The faculty supervisors are looking for a part-time student research assistant to assist with a newly funded NIH grant entitled, R3EDI: Rigorous, Rapid and Relevant Evidence aDaptation and Implementation to Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE). The R3EDI hub supports research teams working on EHE supplements, provides technical assistance as requested, and works to leverage EHE efforts to create generalizable knowledge that can help End the HIV Epidemic.
 
The person in this position will actively participate in team meetings, and provide support for hub activities and objectives including evaluating hub activities, manuscript writing, and developing training opportunities. Responsibilities will be a combination of communication, scheduling, literature reviews, manuscript writing, and depending on skills and interest, assisting with EHE project support and implementation science methods.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities will include some of the following, depending on skills and interest
• Coordinate and schedule R3EDI hub meetings in discussion with hub leads
• Coordinate materials for IRB submissions as needed
• Draft agendas and take minutes
• Support scheduling and outreach for R3EDI hub webinars in consultation with leqadership 
• Maintain tracking documents for the R3EDI hub; draft reporting documents; provide reminders as needed to hub team
• Manage R3EDI hub documents and records (organize OneDrive folder, etc.)
• Coordinate planning and schedule for R3EDI hub evaluation
• Assist with manuscript writing 
• Provide support for development of a Community-Based Participatory Research training program
• Support development of a Social Determinants of Health Database
• Support development of an implementing partners community of practice

Required skills and abilities:
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to work independently 
• Skills in qualitative research preferred
• Skills in quantitative research helpful

Time commitment & stipend: 19hrs/week 
(YSPH hourly rate is $16.50-$17.50
Hourly rate depends on experience
Expected 19hrs/week; flexible times of day

Compensation $17.50/hour
