The student worker will assist in the science communication and community outreach activities for the department. Working as part of the Office for Strategic Research Development within the Department of Genetics , the student will assist in a wide range of activities, including but not limited to managing social media platforms, writing news articles, writing blog posts on the research of the Genetics department, and connecting with other science communications outlets to promote the research of the department. The student will also assist in preparing graphics relevant to the department's activities, such as fliers, events programs and brochures.
