The Native American Cultural Center (NACC), under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Director and the support of the Graduate Affiliate and House Staff, seeks 2 First Year Liaisons who will help orient, invite and connect incoming first year students with the Native American Cultural Center (NACC) and the Indigenous Yale community. All staff, including the First Year Liaisons, will prioritize virtual/hybrid/in-person programming, social media efforts, and communication with students. Additionally, with the guidance, direction and support from the Assistant Director and Graduate Assistant, First Year Liaisons will organize two events (one event or activity per semester) designed with the Native American Cultural Center community in mind, that engages First Years, students, staff and members of the community to participate. First Year Liaisons will also complete other tasks, as assigned. First Year Liaisons are required to attend mandatory weekly NACC House Staff meetings and Intercultural Staff Training for the fall and spring semester. |
